Rihanna Personal Life
She attended the Combermere School, where she formed a musical trio with two of her classmates; and later performed in the Colors of Combermere School Show singing Mariah Carey's 'Hero'. Rihanna, the beautiful singer won the Miss Combermere Beauty Pageant in 2004.
Rihanna got her big break when one of her friends introduced her to New York based music producer Evan Rogers, who was vacationing in Barbados at that time. Rogers then asked Rihanna to sing whatever she likes. When she sang Rogers was surprised by her great singing talent and immediately helped Rihanna make her demo albums. These albums were then sent to various recording companies including Jay-Z, who was impressed and signed her to Def Jam Records. Shawn Carter or simply Jay-Z in the urban community was then CEO of Def Jam Records. Once with Jay-z there was no turning back for this sixteen-year-old promising singer.
